With four hot locations in the trendiest of areas, Ron Herman is the happening place for fashion hipsters in Los Angeles. Infamous for celebrity shoppers like Britney Spears, Jaime King, Lindsay Lohan, and Nicole Richie, Ron Herman is the “it” shopping location for Angelinos in the know. And what’s great about Ron Herman is that you walk out with a wardrobe that will make you look effortlessly fashionable, even with a status that is somewhat less than celebrity.
Ron Herman carries everything from essential Free City sweats to Mike & Chris Leather Jackets to Steven Alan boyfriend tees to match your Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans. Other designers include Dries Van Noten, Rag and Bone, Elizabeth and James (which the Olsen twins co-design), Twenty8Twelve, and Alexander Wang. You can also find token pieces by Jill Stuart, Anna Sui, and Maison Martin Margiela. What’s more, Ron Herman does collaborations with a select number of designers where they exclusively design and sell pieces from your favorite labels that fit the aesthetic of a Ron Herman shopper.
Ron Herman’s greatest asset is their wide selection—they sell clothing and accessories that range from street casual to evening gala. Included in this phenomenon is their Jeans Bar where they sell brands such as Paige Denim, Citizens of Humanity, Rich & Skinny, J Brand, Gold Sign, Earnest Sewn, and Ksubi. This kind of store really encapsulates how Angelinos dress: sweats and tees for a day of errands, jeans and jersey dresses for lunching, and silk crepe dresses with cashmere for evening.
And right now, Ron Herman is having a 50% off sale at all 4 of their locations! Shop away…Ron Herman Beverly Hills

It’s singer Leann Rimes at the Malibu Country Mart. Who’s the cutie?
It looks like she’s carrying a little bag of jewelry from Malibu Rock Star. Wonder what she bought?
It’s actor Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Levin Downey. Looks like they picked up some Coffee Bean before dropping some cash on baby clothes at 98% Angel.
Paul Bunyan in Malibu…..?
Well not exactly, but there is a new shopping complex called the Lumber Yard. In the same location as the Country Mart, Malibu has built an eco-friendly building that boasts trendy boutiques, similar to the row of shops on Robertson Blvd. It includes such stores as Tory Burch, Intermix, Planet Blue, Alice and Olivia, and James Pearse. The Grand Opening a few short weeks ago was graced with the presence of Matthew McConaughey, Angie Harmon, Jeremy Piven and Terri Seymour … just to name a few.
A personal favorite of ours; Intermix which just came over to the west coast less than a year ago, is a store that also seems to continue to be a favorite amongst celebrities and locals. The buyer has an unparallel eye for striking and unique pieces. Few places can you buy a red Chloe handbag, Helmut Lang leather jacket, Splendid T-shirt, and a Diane Von Furstenburg dress.
Although Malibu is quite a jaunt if you live in the core of LA, it makes for a fabulous day trip. So instead of doing Runyon this Sunday, grab your girlfriends and head out for a breathtaking drive to the Lumber Yard to exercise your credit card! After, you can cure your buyer’s remorse with a sugar binge at CRUMBS, with a sinfully delicious cupcake! (You can always do Runyon tomorrow)
There is nothing hotter to pound LA’s pavement in than Pour la Victoire’s Ella T-Strap Sandal … we’re OBSESSED! The billowy zipper-trimmed ruffles lend an edgy yet feminine style to this flat gladiator snakeskin-printed sandal. To look like a real Angelino, pair these sandals with Current/Elliott shorts and a ribbed tank or Levi’s white skinny jeans and a peacock printed caftan.
